I share gemstone stud earrings occasionally, and today you’ll get even more of them for your buck. I don’t really like them, personally, and I don’t generally favor studs anyway, except in a crap-I-need-to-stick-something-on-in-order-to-keep-my-piercings-open-otherwise-I’ll-have-to-get-them-done-again sense. But I feel like these would be great for the young-ish girl in our lives who has just discovered jewelry and purses and is starting to experiment with her style.
And has pierced ears.
I mean, they come in a bunch of different colors, so she can match them to her outfits, which I hear girls are really into. And they’re small but not small – 5 carats. Come on. And they’re sparkly. Women of all ages love sparkliness. So I feel like these would be a great little gift for that bubbly, gangly little young-teen we all know. I’m sure she’d get a kick out of it.
And you know, come to think of it, these would actually make a great Eid gift for some of the young girls I know. As you guys are aware, I’m of Pakistani descent, and most South Asian girls get their ears pierced as babies. It’s a cultural thing – that we share with other cultures, too, but, I don’t know, white people have always freaked out when they discovered that I got my ears pierced when I was a little under a year old.
Oh, white people. Always freaking out about something. SARS, terrorism, non-organic spinach, lactose intolerance, feline AIDS, and babies with pierced ears.
Anyhoodle, here are the earrings. Click to purchase.
And you get ALL of these for $9.99.
Seriously, tweenie girls (pre-tweens?) will totally get a kick out of this crap.
Are brown diamonds (in addition to whatever those brown things are) really a thing? Because they look like glistening poop. I don’t like that. I would never wear that in my ears.
