Sure, why not? I kind of like Amanda Seyfried. She has huge blue eyes and reminds me of a cat. Plus, I really liked “Mean Girls.” I don’t think I’ve seen much else – I had little interest in “Jennifer’s Body” because I dislike Megan Fox and Diablo Cody, and I never wanted to see “Dear John” because I only watch 1-2 chick flicks a year and didn’t want to waste my allotment on that. Also, I do not find Channing Tatum even remotely attractive. Channing Tatum was the dude in “Dear John,” right? Eh, whatever, I don’t really care; why fake it?
Anyway, I found this cute paparazzi shot of Amanda Seyfried leaving some place at some point, and figured I could easily transform it into a business casual outfit. Observe:
Isn’t Amanda Seyfried dating someone that’s terrible and they recently broke up? She was dating that Dominic Cooper guy. I have no idea WHO the heck he is, but I know his name, so that’s a great testament to his fame and I’m sure his family is very proud. But that was years ago. She was dating someone and he was terrible and they broke up recently and no one was surprised.
Let’s see … oh! It was Ryan Philippe! I don’t know, he’s pretty cute, but yeah, he has a terrible track record with the ladies and no one was surprised when it was over. I think when he was promoting MacGruber or something, he shared a cute little story about how his mom called him up one day and was like, “Ryan, why do the people on the Interwebz think you’re a tool?!”
Hahaha. Poor guy.
…I’m probably not helping. :/
Sorry, Mama Philippe!
ANYWAY. Back to Amanda Seyfried and her cute little outfit, which I have made over thus:
Three Dots Square Neck Top in Navy ………. $39.90
Straight Leg Twill Pants in Stone ………. $22.90
Lumiani Luciana Pumps in Black Kid ………. $31.20
The shirt isn’t the same as hers, and I did find some that were remarkably similar, but I liked it a lot so I made the switch. It just kind of worked better for my purposes; it’s more office-appropriate than the others, anyway. Plus, I love square necks and boat-necks. The shirt has three-quarter sleeves and is slim-fitting, and it works well with the grey pants. I threw in black pumps and BAM. Done. Add a cuff bracelet (I’d personally go with black and sparkly silver bracelets, thin ones) and you’re set!
And there we have a cute, work-friendly outfit inspired by Amanda Seyfried, who I like even though I’ve only seen one of her movies. Eh. Sometimes, I’m just easy that way.

She was excellent in Big Love, which is well worth seeing.
