Today’s a sad day. Anthony Weiner is stepping down at 2PM. I’m so incredibly sad about this. He was our best Congressman, falling in second place overall to Senator Dick Durbin.

Goodbye, Rep. Weiner. :/ The worst thing about this is that there’s no one around to succeed you when it comes to your conviction and your forcefulness in fighting for women and the working and middle class.
So incredibly disappointed in the Democratic leadership that pushed for this to happen. Guess I shouldn’t hold my breath waiting for Vitter, Ensign, and Jefferson, to name a few, to resign, right?
