So my dear pal Megan posed a challenge yesterday on Facebook that I couldn’t make over the costumes that the Miss Universe girls were wearing into something not hideous. You know what, Megan? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
:D
If I had really tried to stay true to Miss Georgia’s outfit, I would have gone with a dress, but I really, really felt like going with pants for some reason. And pants on women really just seem to offend some people, like at least one of the judges in the Seventh Circuit. Good thing I probably won’t be up in front of him ever (never say never – with my luck, I will!) because I do not wear suit skirts. Will not. I doubt there are many Muslim lawyers who will. He’ll just have to untwist his girdle and deal.
So check out Miss Georgia’s outfit. (And CLICK on it to get to my post at the Working Wardrobe!)
Remarkably, she’s not as hot-mess-y as a lot of the other chicks. Some of them could realllllly use a sandwich (you know they lost their abilities to menstruate years ago) and some of them are just so pretty. Like Miss Georgia, who I think is stunning, regardless of this monstrosity she’s wearing.
So I fixed up her look in my own way, with pants. That’s not a comment on anything, I was just in a pantsy mood.
Also, I love her shoes. I would step over all of your mothers for her shoes.

:(
No, I wouldn’t. Because then Mama Hoomster would send me to the Shame Corner to think about what I had done.
She’s always sending me to the Shame Corner.
