Today is my day to post at the Working Wardrobe, and that’s just what I did because I am a slave to routine, you guys. I remember back in 1L, I had a 3 hour break between Contracts and Property, so I spent most of it studying for my Property class that day (because just reading and briefing wasn’t enough – our professor would GRILL all 80 of us, so we’d all come armed with knowledge from the book AND supplements and still get ridiculed for not having an answer to his ridiculous, roundabout questions), and then at the same time every time, I’d head down to the Korean place around the corner, order the same entree with the same soda, sit in the same chair in the same table, and eat. I’d get up at the same time every time and throw out my stuff and go back. I was a SLAVE to routine.
The LawSkoolBFF mocks my resistance to change, but what does he know? He’s just a dumb boy. He doesn’t UNDERSTAND these things. He only understands beer and burgers and bewbs. >:(
He doesn’t understand that change is scary and consistency is safe.
He also doesn’t understand the problem with mini-dresses. As far as he’s concerned, the shorter, the better. This is why I will never put him in charge of anything. (Except that I always put him in charge of everything, you guys. :( He basically runs my life with an iron fist.)
I have a problem with mini-dresses, you guys. They’re so frigging short, and I don’t play that. Also, Mama and Papa Hoomster would ship me off to a convent. It wouldn’t really matter that convents are for Christians; they’d send me anyway and just inform the nuns not to tell me anything about Jesus being the son of God.
So what I often do is take a particularly adorable mini dress and wear it with skinny black pants or jeans. That’s what I talk about in today’s post at The Working Wardrobe. Click the picture to get there.
