Seriously, you guys. I can’t stop thinking about ukuleles. They’re so awesome. They’re little and they’ve got strings and they make SOUNDS, you guys. Ukuleles are awesome. I wish I had one RIGHT NOW. That would kick so much ass.
:-|
I was tired, so I ate a glazed chocolate donut, and then I ate these pills I found wrapped in one of my dainty little handkerchiefs in my backpack, and now everything’s kind of colorful and tired, but I’m afraid to go to sleep so I’m just sitting here talking to you guys and CONSTANTLY THINKING ABOUT UKULELES.
Ukuleles have a pretty summery feel, right? They make me think of fruity drinks and white beaches and palm trees and poverty-stricken Jamaicans and coconut bras. At my friend Nadia’s bridal shower years and years ago (she’s got a toddler now, mashaAllah), the theme was ‘Hawaiian luau.’ And it was a surprise. I think. So when Nadia came downstairs (it was in her basement), we made her put on a grass skirt and a coconut bra and a lei.
And then we took pictures.
:-D
Hahaha. She was mortified. And a really good sport.
So anyway, when I think ukuleles and summer and spring and such, I think of flowers. This happens regardless of whether I ate strange pills I found in my backpack or not. And that’s why today’s look, posted over at The Working Wardrobe, features a pretty floral blazer that just takes summer and slams you in the face with it.
Here’s a preview:
So head on over to the Working Wardrobe to check it out!
I’ll be right here, afraid to go to sleep, and you’ll probably have to peel me off the ceiling later.
…
Hm, I wonder what other strange treasures I have hidden in my backpack…and whether I can ingest them without having to consult a mortician.
Hmmm….

Ukes are awesome. And so is this guy: http://64.15.120.236/watch?v=dAVRZ0rRcEM.
Love the BCS posts, btw :) However, any suggestions on where to get petite suits?
There are also ukelojos to consider (one part ukelele, one part banjo). Also, no post for six days?! Hope everything’s okay!
