Okay, so you all saw my non-melt-down over the original Ralph Lauren Photoshop phuckery where that model’s head was wider than her pelvis (and then she was fired for being a fattie-boom-ba-lattie). I cut them considerable slack, saying that we do elevate fashion to the standard of fantasy and illusions, that we all know that models don’t look that way by any healthy means, and that the only reason we see this outrage over the pictures is that they accidentally went too far and blatantly exposed the phoniness in a culture/industry where we were all very comfortable ignoring the phoniness so long as it wasn’t shoved in our face.
But now? OMG. Those MENSA members are at it again!
